NYSUT has developed a Campus Conversation Toolkit to help local union leaders work with community partners to plan events.
Goals include strengthening partnerships between educator preparation programs and P-12 schools; expanding student knowledge about the teaching profession; and encouraging future teachers/career changers to teach needed subject areas and in hard-to-staff districts.
