In honor of Women’s History Month, please join Truth Talks to hear from Elena Romero, Assistant Chair and Assistant Professor of Marketing Communications at the Fashion Institute of Technology, as well as a TV correspondent and producer for Latinas, which airs on CUNY TV.
Her talk, “Breaking Barriers: Latinas in Education and Higher Ed Leadership,” will explore the challenges, triumphs, and systemic barriers faced by Latinas in education and academia—from the classroom to administrative leadership.
