On May 19, Kate Mullany was posthumously inducted into Labor's International Hall of Fame. Mullany helped form the country's first bona fide all women's union, the Troy Collar Laundry Union. Above, from left, American Labor Studies Center Executive Director Paul Cole receives the induction award from Erik Nordberg of the hall of fame. Cole is also overseeing restoration of the Kate Mullany house in Troy. Her house is listed on the New York State Women's Heritage Trail. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1998 and was deemed a National Historic Site in 2008.  Photo by Nicole Clayton.
