NEW ANTI-BULLYING RESOURCES
School employees are targets of bullies at almost three times the national average. NYSUT has posted a fact sheet, model policy, contract language and an anti-bullying poster that can be customized, printed out and posted at workplaces and union offices. Members and local presidents can also order printed copies in limited supply. ONLINE LEARNING FOR SRPS
Dealing with Difficult Behaviors is NYSUT's first online seminar for all SRP members. The three-hour seminar offered by NYSUT's Education & Learning Trust costs only $25 and offers strategies for dealing with students who exhibit chronic misbehavior. The online format will help SRP members receive professional development at home, at their convenience and at their own pace. Registered members are paired with a trained SRP facilitator who will work with them online to complete the seminar.
