Since 2000, NYSUT has raised more than $10 million for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign - a feat no corporate sponsor in the country can match. That success is due to the dedication of union members, said NYSUT Vice President Maria Neira.
"Thousands of NYSUT members from across the state give generously to breast cancer research every year," Neira said, thanking members for their past support and encouraging them to continue their participation this fall.
