Thanks to a new partner, an NEA-produced booklet will now be more widely available. The Healthy Facilities Institute is promoting The Food Allergy Book — What School Employees Need to Know, a publication of the NEA Health Information Network. The guide provides information about what to do when a student is having a severe, life-threatening allergic reaction and explains how school staff can help prevent reactions in their school.
HFI will publish excerpts of the book on its website — www.hfi.org — and through other outreach efforts.
