The latest issue of Educator's Voice is dedicated to how educators can use the ever-expanding array of technological tools in the classroom and beyond.

Educator's Voice offers ideas for integrating technology into pre-K-16 education.

Authors also describe the tremendous impact technology can have on particular students, especially English language learners and students with disabilities.

"These authors have a vision for their students and their schools. Technology is an important part of that vision," said NYSUT Vice President Maria Neira. "Yet, tools need to be used wisely. And professional development must keep pace with rapidly emerging technologies."

This new, 75-page edition is the fourth volume of NYSUT's annual journal of best practices in education, featuring the work of NYSUT members.

It is posted at www.nysut.org. To request a hard copy, email Barbara Back at bback@nysutmail.org.

Educator's Voice also includes a call for proposals for Volume V, which will be devoted to Assessment: Multiple Ways of Assessing Student Learning. Submission proposals are due by June 10.
