Gov. Kathy Hochul has declared a state of emergency in Western New York and the Mid-Hudson and Finger Lakes Regions, even as the state prepares for potential additional flooding in Northern New York.
We encourage your donations to the Disaster Relief Fund to help alleviate some of the difficulties our members are facing.
NYSUT members impacted by the storm may apply for relief; a special form is now available for those NYSUT members in FEMA-designated areas.
Our hearts go out to our family, friends and fellow New Yorkers impacted by the storm.
