40,000 CWA and IBEW members are still on strike at Verizon and Verizon Wireless and they need our help.

On Thursday, May 5, union members from all over the country are taking part in "National Verizon Strike Day" and picketing at Verizon Wireless locations throughout the nation.
Many NYSUT members will be joining their local unions to wear red and walk the picket line at the sites listed below.
Together we will show Verizon what this strike is about - protecting good paying jobs and ensuring a brighter future for our communities.
