A poll conducted by the National Education Association, one of NYSUT's national affilaites, found that three out of four teachers nationally support the promise of Common Core Learning Standards, but are concerned about receiving the support they need form states and districts to make them work.
The NEA findings reflect similar results from earlier polls by NYSUT and the American Federation of Teachers, another NYSUT affiliate.
