City University of New York professors, staff and students will be speaking out at a series of hearings sponsored by the Professional Staff Congress to explain the real-life implications of proposed budget cuts on CUNY - and how CUNY makes a real difference in the lives of New Yorkers.
The hearings, which will be co-sponsored by DC 37, University Student Senate and NYPIRG, will include state and city lawmakers in locations around the city. All the budget hearings are on Thursday afternoons. For information, contact Sabrine Hammad (shammad@pscmail.org) or call (212) 354-1252.
