Do you want to help shape teaching and learning at the state level?

The State Education Department is building its database of teachers who would like to be involved in projects that have ranged in the past from helping develop state learning standards to reviewing curriculum guidance materials.

Most recently, NYSUT members were involved in - and co-chaired - a State Ed committee that undertook a rewrite of New York's pre-K-12 math standards.

Names of interested teachers will be entered in the department's Curriculum, Instruction and Instructional Technology Team database and chosen based on experience and areas of expertise.
