Middle Level Education update
State Ed releases two middle level programs

August 2005

SED has released the applications for two middle level programs.  One is the application for regulatory relief under Models B and C.  The other is the NYS Essential Elements Schools To Watch program.  This program will recognize exemplar schools that house two grades from grades 6, 7 and 8.  You many access these applications at www.nysmsa.org.

NYSUT's Division of Research and Educational Services serves as the research arm of NYSUT, providing information and assistance to Field Services, to other NYSUT divisions, and to local leaders.
