In a surprise move, the State Education Department has released a revised Math B conversion chart.

Results of the Math B Regents exam had been dismal and teachers were expressing their concerns with the original conversion chart.

With the revised chart, a raw score of 48 is converted to a 65, while a raw score of 71 converts to an 85. The previous scale had a 53 converting to a 65 and a 75 converting to an 85.
