| Board of Regents approves new high school math classes and standards March 17, 2005 At their March meeting, the Board of Regents approved two recommendations from the Mathematics Standards Committee to move from Math A and Math B to Algebra, Geometry and Algebra 2 and Trigonometry and that the revised standards for these new courses along with modifications to the PreK - grade 8 standards. The Regents will consider the remaining four recommendations later this year.
