Conference registration and payment

Registration may be completed online through NYSUT'S secure website: secure.nysut.org/inservice or by mailing a completed Conference Registration and Housing Form to NYSUT Travel and Conference Services. All participants are encouraged to submit registration information and workshop selections on-line.

On-line Registration: Conference and online registration information available at www.nysut.org OR s ecure.nysut.org/inservice . On-line registrants may submit registration and housing information make workshop selections and pay with bank card online. Online registrants wishing to pay by check or purchase order may submit registration information online and then mail their check or purchase order with a copy of their online registration confirmation information to NYSUT Travel and Conference Services at the address listed below.

Mail-in Registration: The Conference and Housing Registration Form can be downloaded from www.nysut.org . The conference registration and housing form should be completed and mailed with a check or purchase order made payable to the Education and Learning Trust ( ID#16-6460576). Sorry no payments by bank card with mail in registration. Mail completed registration form and payment by either check or purchase order to:

Housing and meals

Rooms are on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure housing at the Crowne Plaza, registration must be received by October 1, 2004. Please indicate roommate(s) name(s) if you are sharing a room. Roommates must complete a separate conference registration and housing form. If you have questions about housing, email or call NYSUT Travel and Conference Services at rahouse@nysutmail.org or 1-800-342-9810 x 6699. The hotel requires a credit card upon check-in to cover room incidentals. All conference sessions, and meals will be held at the Crowne Plaza , State & Lodge Streets, Albany , NY (518) 462-6611.

Workshops

When registering online or completing a mail-in registration, please indicate workshop selections. Workshop numbers with full workshop descriptions and updated program information are available at www.nysut.org. Workshops are subject to change or cancellation.

Conference Registration Fee and Housing Rates Per Person: *

With 2 Nights Housing Commuter and Day Package*

* Plus $115/night if overnight is needed.

The conference registration fee includes all conference materials and meals. Commuter and Day packages include conference registration fees for the day(s) selected only. Hotel rates are $115 per night per single room.

Cancellation

Cancellations prior to October 1, 2004 will receive a full refund. After that date, partial refunds will be given.

Ground Transportation and parking

Courtesy van transportation is available to the Crowne Plaza from the airport and train station. Courtesy phone is located in the baggage claim area at the airport. If arriving by train contact the Crowne Plaza at 518-462-6611 to arrange for pick-up. Parking at the Crowne Plaza will be at the discounted rate of $5.00 per day for conference attendees and hotel guests.

Information and Directions

NYSUT's Division of Research and Educational Services serves as the research arm of NYSUT, providing information and assistance to Field Services, to other NYSUT divisions, and to local leaders. In addition, the Division provides a variety of information and workshops to local leaders and to local member organizations.
