We are the Rensselaer Columbia Greene Counties BOCES Teachers Association (RCG-BOCES TA)! We have 294 members in our local.

The RCG-BOCES TA is designated local 10-175 and is part of NYSUT, the New York State United Teachers. NYSUT is affiliated with the American Federation of Teachers, (AFL-CIO)and NEA.

We are here to encourage professionalism so that we may better serve our students AND to be your exclusive representative for collective negotiations with respect to salaries, wages, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment of full and part-time employees.

Pension & Retirement Education Program (PREP)
No matter how far along you are in your career, careful financial and retirement planning are critical, and NYSTRS' PREP seminar can help members of all ages. Seminars run 8:30AM to 3PM; registration begins at 8AM. There is no fee to attend; your spouse/companion is welcome too, but you must make a reservation in advance.The latest schedule is available here.
