Tony Bifaro, who oversees the union's annual convention, meets with staffers to iron out the latest details each morning during the three-day RA.

Delegates who will chair the amendments and resolutions committees prepare to conduct the official business of the convention. Delegates will consider 118 resolutions submitted by locals and the Board of Directors, including a special resolution related to the Constitutional and Bylaw amendments required to achieve unification with NEA/NY. The chairpersons ultimately bring their committee recommendations to the floor for consideration by the entire body, so we all rely on them to run their business fairly and efficiently.

NYSUT's Gary Brunick goes over raffle sales with sergeants and tellers. Richard Lee chairs the Sergeant-At-Arms Committee, and Michael McElheny chairs the Tellers Committee. Both serve to enforce the rules of the RA.
