Getting There.

NYSUT has arranged the following discounts:

• US Airways
  Call 877-874-7687. Mention Gold File 51652850 to obtain 7% discount, or 12% discount if booked 60 days prior to travel. Restrictions apply.

• Amtrak
  Call 800 872-7245. Mention Special Fare Code Number X89A-905 to obtain 10% discount. Restrictions apply.
• Carlson Albany Travel
  Travel arrangements can also be made by contacting Carlson Albany Travel at 518-292-9000 or 800-666-2929. Please identify yourself as a NYSUT convention attendee. Ticketing fees apply.
• JetBlue Airways
  Jet Blue also provides travel to New York City from upstate areas. No NYSUT discount applies. JetBlue Airways: www.jetblue.com or 800-538-2583 (to JFK airport only)

Ground Transportation

• Amtrak/ NY Penn Station
  $6 each way by taxi (10 minutes)
• LaGuardia Airport
  $25-$30 each way by taxi (30-40 minutes)
  $15 each way by Super Shuttle (45-75 minutes)
• John F. Kennedy Airport
  $35 each way by taxi (30-40 minutes)
  $17 each way by Super Shuttle (45-75 minutes)

Super Shuttle courtesy phone is located in the baggage claim area - no advance reservations required for airport to hotel service. Advanced reservations are required for return trip from hotel back to airport. Call 800-258-3826 at least 24 hours in advance to make a reservation.

Housing

Reservations are accepted on an availability basis-first come, first served-but no later than February 9, 2004. Please note that the deadline for reservations has passed.

Online housing reservations are again available here at the NYSUT Web site.

Housing information and an application form are also enclosed with the print version of the convention call. Please read the instructions carefully and submit your form to NYSUT Headquarters (phone reservations will not be accepted).
