Local Presidents' Conference
UPDATE: The deadline for registration has passed. We are no longer accepting applications.
- INVITEES. The Local Presidents' Conference (LPC) is open only
to local presidents and Board of Directors' members in order to meet the conference
need for small groups. This invitation is not transferable. We ask for your cooperation
in observing this limitation.
- LOCATION. All conference sessions
will be held in the Hilton New York.
- DEADLINE. The deadline
for registration is January 9, 2004. A refundable registration fee of $100 is
required to confirm your registration. This fee is payable only by check made
out to NYSUT LPC and must be submitted with your registration form. This check
will be refunded to you upon registration at the conference or by cancellation
prior to March 15, 2004.
- REGISTRATION. To register for the
conference complete the registration form you received in the mail or register
online or fax to 518-213-6461. Mail the form and/or check in the blue pre-addressed
envelope to NYSUT RA, 800 Troy-Schenectady Road, Latham, New York 12110. Please
be sure to include a copy of the registration form with your check if you submitted
a form online.
- HOUSING. To request housing, mail or
fax the housing application you received in the mail or submit
a housing form online. If you plan to attend the both the LPC and the Representative
Assembly, use only one form and be sure to indicate the arrival and departure
dates that will cover your entire stay. Return your housing application in the
blue pre-addressed envelope to NYSUT RA, 800 Troy-Schenectady Road, Latham, New
York 12110, or fax 518-213-6461. Please do not mail in the form if you have
submitted an online housing form.
- SPECIAL EVENT. On
Wednesday, March 24th, conference attendees are invited to attend a special event.
If you would like a ticket, please indicate such on the registration form. A limited
quantity of tickets is available, and NYSUT may not be able to accommodate requests
for additional tickets. If you do request an additional ticket, you will receive
notice as the date approaches as to whether or not your request can be accommodated.
The cost for an additional ticket is $70.
- CONFIRMATION.
A confirmation of your LPC registration will be sent in early March.
- SPECIAL
ACCOMODATIONS. If you require a special accommodation or device in order for
you to fully participate in this conference, please check the appropriate box
on the registration form or call NYSUT Travel & Conference Services (518) 213-6000
or (800) 342-9810 extension 6627.
- MEALS. A guest may attend
the conference meal functions but not the conference sessions. For all meal functions,
you must purchase tickets for your guest to attend. Please indicate the appropriate
selections on the registration form and include a separate check payable to NYSUT
LPC to cover the additional costs.
