Making a difference in Albany and Washington

posted: March 17, 2004.

capitolUnionists across the state proved a valuable political point last May, when lawmakers heard the rallying cry of the May 3 March for Education in Albany and restored billions for education and health care programs in a historic veto override.

The fight is far from over. Your union needs every delegate, alternate and visitor to stop in the Political Action Center on the third-floor Promenade to contact elected officials on critical issues at the state and national levels.

The center will be open from noon to 7:30 p.m. and 10 to 11:30 p.m. Thursday, March 25; from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, March 26; and from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 27.

ACT NOW!
