UUP's Bill Scheuerman introduces a special order of business to recognize Tim Reilly.

The RA passed a resolution to honor the legacy of the late John "Tim" Reilly, former president of United University Professions. Reilly died in February.

Reilly was a former professor of English at SUNY Albany, UUP president for six years, AFT vice president and NYSUT Board member. He was a strong supporter of affirmative action and increased student access to SUNY. The resolution offered condolences to his wife, Janet Potter, and his family.
