VOTE-COPE VOTE-COPE is the non-partisan political action portion of our Union. No part of our union dues goes to political action in any way, so the funds used to lobby the State Legislature on statewide education issues comes from people like you and me who care about our jobs, the welfare of our students and the field of education. Through VOTE-COPE, the professional and personal lives of our members are improved. It pools the voluntary contributions of members from across the state to make contributions to pro-education candidates and to support political action that aims to protect our incomes and careers, health and safety, retirement changes, and health care. Make no mistake about it… education is a political issue, and the decisions that are made on the state and federal level definitely affect us.
